Speaker of the National Assembly of Zambia, The Rt. Hon. Ms. Nelly B.K. Mutti, SC, MP, FAPRA, has welcomed Her Excellency Ms. Rebecca Terzeon, the new High Commissioner of the United Kingdom to Zambia, calling for strengthened collaboration and support between the two nations.

Speaker of the National Assembly of Zambia, The Right Honourable Nelly B. K Mutti, SC, MP, FAPRA, has welcomed the call by the Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt to strengthen bilateral relations between the two countries.

Speaking during a courtesy meeting, on Monday 17^th March 2025, at Parliament Buildings, Speaker Mutti stated that the relationship between Zambia and Egypt has been strong since 1964, built on shared values and friendship.

Youths from the National Assembly of Zambia (NAZ) proudly joined the nation in celebrating Youth Day under the theme “Voices Amplified, Innovations Ignited.”

The annual event, held on Wednesday, 12^th March, 2025, at the Showgrounds in Lusaka and other parts of the country, brought together young people from various institutions to showcase their role in national development.

First Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly of Zambia, Honourable Malungo Chisangano, MP, led staff from the National Assembly in commemorating International Women’s Day at the Show Grounds in Lusaka on Saturday, 8^th March 2025.

Honourable Chisangano said that the National Assembly remains committed to championing gender-responsive policies and legislative reforms that promote women's rights and participation in governance.
