The main objective of the public hearing was to explain to participants and hear from them on the Children’s Code Act number 12 of 2022.

Delay in Signing the ACP-EU New Partnership Agreement - A Barrier to Trade and Development

The Chairperson of the Committee on Economic Development, Finance and Trade of the Organisation of African, Caribbean and Pacific States (OACPS), Hon Sibeso Kakoma Sefulo, who is also Mwandi Member of Parliament, has expressed concern at the delay in the signing of the New Partnership Agreement (NPA) between the OACPS and the European Union (EU).

Speaker of the National Assembly of Zambia, The Rt. Hon. Nelly B K Mutti, MP has called on Parliaments in LDCs to take centre stage on matters of aid and cooperation in their entrenched representative, Legislative and oversight responsibilities. She said this in Qatar during a panel discussion on LDCs and aid “Towards more effective Development Cooperation”.
