Simulima receives CDF funded health facility in Nalikwanda Constituency

A modern health facility constructed using the 2024 Constituency Development Fund (CDF) has been completed in Simulima area of Nalikwanda Constituency.

The newly developed facility in Mongu District comprises a health post, maternity annex, staff house, ablution block and a solar-powered water reticulation system, creating a fully equipped rural health service hub.

The project was implemented in response to community needs and forms part of ongoing efforts to strengthen primary healthcare delivery in rural areas.

Pharaz Bakery Cooperative in Mpika receives K40,000 CDF Grant to boost production

Pharaz Bakery Cooperative in Kamwanya Community of Mpika Constituency has received a K40,000 Constituency Development Fund (CDF) grant to boost its operations and improve production capacity.

The grant, awarded under the 2022 CDF, has enabled the cooperative to invest in essential bakery equipment aimed at supporting income-generating activities.

Speaking in Kamwanya Community, bakery member Ms. Gift Mwansa said the funds were used to procure key equipment for the bakery.

Siavonga Council commissions CDF-funded bulldozer

Siavonga Town Council has commissioned a bulldozer procured using the 2025 Constituency Development Fund (CDF), a development aimed at improving infrastructure development works in the district.

Speaking during the commissioning ceremony held on 3rd March, 2026, at Siavonga Town Council, Southern Province Permanent Secretary, Dr. Naman Monze, said the investment in capital equipment demonstrates Government’s commitment to ensuring that CDF resources translate into tangible development at local level.

Mushitala School gets new double story classroom block built using CDF

Mushitala Secondary School in Solwezi District, has received a 1x6 newly constructed double-storey classroom block built using the Constituency Development Fund (CDF) at a total cost of K4.1 million.

Speaking during the official handover ceremony in Kamalamba Ward, on Monday, 30th March, 2026, Solwezi Central Member of Parliament, Hon. Stafford Mulusa, MP, said the development is a clear demonstration of Government’s commitment to enhancing education infrastructure across the country.

Munali community sports facility completed

Munali community sports facility has been completed in Ward 38 of Munali Constituency, a development aimed at promoting youth engagement and community development through sport.

The project, constructed using the Constituency Development Fund (CDF), is expected to provide a platform for young people to participate in various sporting disciplines and remain actively engaged.

K40,000 CDF grant transforms Kabele Women’s Club in Lumezi District

Kabele Women’s Club in Lumezi District is undergoing transformation following a K40,000 Constituency Development Fund (CDF) grant, which has enabled 10 women from Mkasanga Village to establish a tailoring business aimed at improving their livelihoods and addressing the shortage of sewing services in the area.

The women applied for the grant after identifying the lack of tailors in Mkasanga and neighbouring villages, a situation that had forced residents to travel to other districts to access such services.

Nakonde Acquires K6.493 Million Drilling Rig to Tackle Water Challenges

Nakonde Constituency is set to address its long-standing water challenges following the acquisition of a drilling rig valued at K6.493 million. The equipment which was procured under the 2024-2025 Constituency Development Fund (CDF) is expected to improve access to clean and safe water in the area.

Central Province Minister Hands Over New Footbridge in Chilochabalenje Ward

Central Province Minister and Katuba Member of    Parliament Hon. Mwabashike Nkulukusa said the    newly constructed Mbosha footbridge will serve as a vital link between the communities of Mbongolo and Mbosha, especially during the rainy season when flooding often cuts them from the rest of the ward.

He made the remarks during the official handover    ceremony of the K735,000 project, on Friday, 25th April 2025, which was funded through the 2024     Constituency Development Fund (CDF).

Luangeni MP Hands Over New Classroom Block to Mainga Primary School

Second Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly and Luangeni Member of Parliament, Hon. Moses F. Moyo, officially handed over a newly constructed 1x2 classroom block to Mainga Primary School on Wednesday, 7th May 2025.

The facility which was built at a total cost of K934,927.17 under the 2024 Constituency Development Fund (CDF) is meant to transition Mainga from a community school to a fully recognised primary school within Luangeni     Constituency.

Magoye MP Commissions Two Key CDF Projects

Member of Parliament for Magoye Constituency, Hon. Mweemba Malambo, officially commissioned two infrastructure projects funded under the 2024 Constituency Development Fund (CDF), on Monday, 7th April, 2025. The projects include a 1x2 classroom block at Naleza Primary School and a staff house at Nziba Primary School.
