Libala Secondary School Receives New School Block

Kabwata Member of Parliament, Honourable Andrew Tayengwa handed over a 1x3 classroom block to Libala Stage 3 Secondary School which costed over K1,275,962.27, on Thursday 6th February, 2025.

Hon Tayengwa said that the project completed by the Constituency Development Fund is aimed to not only cater for more pupils but to enhance and enrich the pupils learning experience to achieve better academic results.

MPASA BRIDGE SUCCESSFULLY REHABILITATED

Mpasa Bridge in Mpika District has been successfully rehabilitated, bringing much-needed relief to residents and motorists who depend on it for transportation and economic activities.

Speaking at the official commissioning, Mambilima Member of Parliament, Hon. Jean Chisenga said the rehabilitation of the bridge will greatly improve the movement of residents especially the school going children who had to cross the river every day.

MWENSE TOWN COUNCIL PROCURES EARTH MOVING EQUIPMENTS

Mwense Town Council has successfully procured a set of earth-moving equipment using funds from the 2023 Constituency Development Fund (CDF).

The newly acquired equipment includes, a TLB Backhoe Loader, Bulldozer, Roller Compactor, Low Bed Truck and Trailer and a Motor Grader.

This initiative demonstrates the effectiveness of CDF in empowering local authorities with the necessary tools to improve service delivery, particularly in road rehabilitation and infrastructure development.

Bwana Mkubwa Member of Parliament, Honourable Warren Mwambazi, spearheaded a Constituency Development Fund (CDF) initiative aimed at empowering youth, women and the broader community through financial support and skills development.

Chikankata MP Commissions Earth Moving Equipment for Road Development

Chikankata Member of Parliament, Honourable Jacqueline Sabao, has commissioned a Tractor Loader Backhoe (TLB) procured using the 2023 Constituency Development Fund (CDF) at a cost of K2,171,520.02.

Speaking at the Chikankata Council Civic Centre on Thursday, 4th April 2024, Honourable Sabao said that a good road network is essential for community development, as it facilitates accessibility and drives both economic and social progress.

SCHOOLS IN SHIWANG`ANDU CONSTITUENCY RECEIVE CLASSROOM BLOCKS AND DESKS

Shiwang`andu District Commissioner Ms. Maureen Bwembya on 15th April 2024, commissioned 1x4 Classroom Block at Shiwang`andu Secondary School, 1X3 Classroom Block at Kasashi Primary School and a 1x3 Classroom Block at Chumbu Primary School and also 3,500 desks procured under the Constituency Development Fund (CDF) all valued at seven million and twenty-four thousand kwacha (K7,024,000.00).

Five Health Facilities in Nalikwanda Equipped With Modern Medical Supplies

Five health facilities in Mongu’s Nalikwanda Constituency have received modern equipment worth K875,000, procured through the Constituency Development Fund (CDF).

According to Mongu Municipal Council Assistant Public Relations Manager, Abigail Sitenge, said that the beneficiaries include Nandinga Health Post, Kaulu, Lukulo, Simulima and Imalyo Clinic. Ms. Sitenge said that these facilities, built using CDF, remained non-operational due to a lack of equipment.

Minister of Justice Commissions Science Lab in Keembe

Keembe Member of Parliament and Minister of Justice, Hon. Princess Kasune, commissioned a 1x2 Science Laboratory at Malambanyama Day Secondary School in Chibombo District on 12th November, 2024. This is the second school in Malambanyama Ward to receive such a facility after Kafushi Boarding School.

The Justice Minister said that the Scence laboratory constructed under the 2023 Constituency Development Fund (CDF) at a cost of K696,000, will benefit about 700 learners, providing them with hands on experience in science projects.

Chadiza Constituency Procures Earth-Moving Machinery Using CDF

Chadiza Constituency has successfully acquired four types of earth-moving machinery through the 2022-2023 Constituency Development Fund (CDF). The newly procured equipment includes a caterpillar grader, a front loader, a tipper truck and a compactor, all aimed at improving road infrastructure and supporting development in the district.

CDF SCORES IN KANGULUNGA, MUYEMBE WARD

The Zambezi Town Council officially handed over two newly constructed staff houses to Kangulunga Primary School in Muyembe Ward on 4th May, 2024. The houses were built using funds from the 2023 Zambezi West Constituency Development Fund (CDF).

Member of Parliament Hon. Vumango Musumali, officiated at the handover ceremony and said that the New Dawn Government IS commitmented to infrastructure development. He assured the residents that more projects aimed at improving their living conditions would be forthcoming.
