Kasama Central MP Inspects Completion of Solar Water Scheme at Nyola Rural Health Post

Kasama Central Member of Parliament, Hon. Sibongile Mwamba, visited the Nyola Rural Health Post in Julia Chikamoneka Ward on 17th August, 2024 to inspect the completion of the newly constructed Solar Water Scheme.

Speaking during the visit, she said that the project, funded under the Constituency Development Fund (CDF) at a cost of K293,450, has been successfully completed. She stated that the scheme would meaningfully improve access to clean and safe water for both the health facility and the surrounding community.

CDF Disaster Fund Restores Key Bridge in Lumezi

Lumezi District is reconnecting communities by constructing bridges through the Constituency Development Fund (CDF) disaster component, which is restoring vital infrastructure damaged by heavy rains. While CDF primarily supports community projects, bursaries and empowerment programs, the 5 percent disaster allocation is playing a crucial role in rebuilding essential crossing points.

Chipongwe Receives New Health Post

Kafue Constituency Member of Parliament, Honourable Mirriam Chonya handed over Chipongwe Clinic constructed using the 2023 Constituency Development Fund in Shimabala Ward on Tuesday 15th October, 2024 in Chipongwe area.

The newly constructed clinic will address the challenge of residents traveling long distances especially mothers, children and the aged. Present at the handover ceremony were Ward Development Committee Members and residents of the area.

CDF DELIVERS SCHOOL DESKS IN CHIAWA

Kafue Town Council in collaboration with Primrose a local non-governmental organization delivered 330 desks to Chiawa schools. The desks which were scheduled to be distributed to all schools in Chiawa zone were delivered at Gotagota School on Friday 13th September, 2024. About 290 desks were delivered under the Constituency Development Fund and 40 desks were donated by Primrose.

NTULO COMBINED SCHOOL SET FOR TRANSFORMATION WITH A 1X3 CLASSROOM BLOCK

Mbala Member of Parliament and Luapula Province Minister, Honourable Njavwa Simutowe, handed over a brand-new 1x3 classroom block to Ntulo combined School, on 2nd February, 2024 in Ngona Ward of Kawambwa Constituency.

Speaking during the handover of the project, Hon. Njavwa said that the Government is committed to improving education infrastructure through Constituency Development Fund (CDF).
