Keembe Member of Parliament and Minister of Justice, Hon. Princess Kasune, commissioned a 1x2 Science Laboratory at Malambanyama Day Secondary School in Chibombo District on 12th November, 2024. This is the second school in Malambanyama Ward to receive such a facility after Kafushi Boarding School.
The Justice Minister said that the Scence laboratory constructed under the 2023 Constituency Development Fund (CDF) at a cost of K696,000, will benefit about 700 learners, providing them with hands on experience in science projects.
Hon. Kasune thanked President Hakainde Hichilema and the Government for increasing the CDF, making such projects possible. She urged the community to safeguard the facility.
Chief Liteta of the Lenje people commended the government for the development, while a Grade 12 student, Mervis Malembeka, expressed gratitude but called on the Government to construct more classrooms.
The Minister was accompanied by district and council officials, DRBS representatives, and constituency leaders.
