Kafue Town Council in collaboration with Primrose a local non-governmental organization delivered 330 desks to Chiawa schools. The desks which were scheduled to be distributed to all schools in Chiawa zone were delivered at Gotagota School on Friday 13^th September, 2024. About 290 desks were delivered under the Constituency Development Fund and 40 desks were donated by Primrose.

Present at the handover ceremony officiated by Kafue Member of Parliament, Hon Mirriam Chonya, were the District Commissioner Mr. Maurice Hikapulwe, the Council Secretary Mr. Bupe Mutanya, the District Education Board Secretary, Berlina Moono, the Constituency Development Fund Committee Chairperson, Mr. Meddy Muleya and the Constituency Development Fund Vice Chairperson Mr. Macmen Luhana.
