Chadiza Constituency Procures Earth-Moving Machinery Using CDF
Chadiza Constituency has successfully acquired four types of earth-moving machinery through the 2022-2023 Constituency Development Fund (CDF). The newly procured equipment includes a caterpillar grader, a front loader, a tipper truck and a compactor, all aimed at improving road infrastructure and supporting development in the district.
The grader which is already in use has been working on several roads within Chadiza's central business district, including key feeder roads, such as Kabvumo Loop, Katantha Day Secondary Road and the Chadiza–Chiswa Road, which leads to the Great East Road junction.
During a recent inspection, Chadiza District Commissioner Kings Milan Zimba, Member of Parliament, Hon. Jonathan Daka and Chadiza Town Council Secretary, David Mumba, assessed the newly acquired compactor. This inspection followed a CDF meeting where officials discussed the ongoing progress in infrastructure development.
