NELLY MUTTI FOUNDATION DONATES FOOTBALL EQUIPMENT TO NATIONAL ASSEMBLY WOMEN’S TEAM

In a show of support for women’s football and youth empowerment, the Nelly Mutti Foundation has donated a full set of football equipment to the National Assembly Women’s Football Team. The donation included home and away jerseys, socks, and soccer balls — a boost aimed at equipping the team for both success and professionalism on the pitch.

The handover ceremony was graced by the Speaker of the National Assembly and founder of the Nelly Mutti Foundation, Rt. Hon. Nelly Mutti, MP, who personally handed over the kit to the team.

In her remarks, Madam Speaker encouraged the players to continue flying the National Assembly flag high while emphasizing the importance of balancing both education and sports, as the two go hand in hand in shaping a well-rounded future.

She concluded by wishing the team the very best as they prepare for the 2025 Charity Shield set for 9th August at Levy Mwanawasa Stadium in Ndola, where the National Assembly Women’s Team will take on Konkola Queens in what promises to be a thrilling fixture.

And the Chairperson for The National Assembly football club expressed gratitude for the gesture from the Nelly Muti Foundation.
