Speaker of the National Assembly Rt Hon Justice Dr Patrick Matibini, SC, FCIARB, MP, has reiterated the need for Zambia and Russia to increase their scope of collaboration.

Champions for an Aids Free Generation in Africa have applauded the efforts that National Assembly of Zambia is making to address issues of HIV/AIDS. This was when a Delegation of the Champions led by His Excellency, Mr Hifikepunye Pohamba, former President of Namibia paid a courtesy call on the Speaker of the National Assembly Rt. Hon. Justice Dr. Patrick Matibini, SC, FCIArb, MP, on Friday, 11th May, 2018, at Parliament Buildings.

The Commonwealth Parliamentary Association (CPA) will help strengthen parliamentary practice and procedure for the recently elected Nevis Island Assembly when it holds a CPA Post-Election Seminar next week. The CPA Post-Election Seminar in Charlestown, Nevis is held to enable current and recently elected Parliamentarians to gain a broader understanding of the principles of parliamentary democracy and strengthen their skillsets.
