DEPUTY SPEAKER CHISANGANO URGES CHIRUNDU RESIDENTS TO RECOGNIZE AND CELEBRATE WOMEN AND GIRLS CHAMPIONING ADVANCEMENT OF TRANSFORMATIVE TECHNOLOGY AND DIGITAL EDUCATION

The First Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly of Zambia Hon.  Malungo  Chisangano, MP, has urged Chirundu residents to recognize and celebrate women and girls who are championing the advancement of transformative technology and digital education. She said this will encourage more women, girls and other marginalized groups to embrace technology which will result in greater potential for innovations that meet women’s needs and promote gender equality.

ZAMBIAN MPS CALL ON AFRICAN UNION MEMBER STATES TO COMMIT TOWARDS ACTUALISING WOMEN EMPOWERMENT PROGRAMMES

Zambian Members of Parliament attending the Committee Sittings of the Pan African Parliament in Midrand, South Africa, have called on African Union Member States to commit towards  actualising all the plans and activities put in place to empower women and girls on the continent.

MEMBERS OF PARLIAMENT HOLD A PUBLIC HEARING ON THE CHILDREN’S CODE ACT IN CHISAMBA CONSTITUENCY

Dr Christopher Kalilla, Member of Parliament for Lukulu East and Honourable Ms. Princess Kasune, Member of Parliament for Keembe Constituency who are on the Advisory Board of the Parliamentary Caucus on Sexual Reproductive and Health Rights (PCSRHR) of the National Assembly of Zambia led a group of fellow Members of Parliament for a Public Hearing at Chisamba District Council Hall on Monday, 6th March, 2023. The main objective of the public hearing was to explain to participants and hear from them on the Children’s Code Act number 12 of 2022.
