The Speaker of the National Assembly of Zambia, the Rt Hon. Dr. Nelly B.K. Mutti, SC, MP, FAPRA, today attended the funeral church service for the late former Cabinet Minister, Dr. Mutumba Mainga Bull, who passed away on Friday, 13th February, 2026.

Dr. Mutti joined the Republican President, Hakainde Hichilema, at the Cathedral of the Holy Cross, alongside the Chief Justice, Dr. Mumba Malila, Cabinet Ministers, Members of Parliament, other Government officials, family members and members of the public in paying their last respects to the late Dr. Bull.

Speaker Mutti Mourns Chibesakunda and Justice Mwenda

The Speaker of the National Assembly of Zambia, the Rt. Hon. Dr. Nelly B.K. Mutti, SC, MP, FAPRA, today visited the funeral house of Mr. Chita Chushi Chibesakunda, who passed away on Sunday, 15th February, 2026. Mr. Chibesakunda was the husband to the Managing Director of Zambia National Commercial Bank (ZANACO), Mrs. Mukwandi Chibesakunda.

The Speaker conveyed her condolences to the bereaved family on behalf of the National Assembly of Zambia and in her personal capacity.
