Constituency Staff Encouraged To Remain Professional

Honourable Moses F Moyo, MP, the Second Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly of Zambia encouraged the constituency staff to remain professional and assured them of the support of the Speaker whose desire is to ensure the constituency offices become an equipped access point for the National Assembly of Zambia.

He said this when he visited the Munali Constituency Office in Lusaka Province on Tuesday 11th October, 2022 where he went to familiarize himself with the operations of the office.

The First Deputy Speaker Hon. Malungo A. Chisangano, MP says Zambia will continue to promote and uphold women’s rights in leadership as they are key stakeholders in nation building in any democratic dispensation.

Speaking in Johannesburg, South Africa, where she is leading a delegation from Zambia at the Africa Liberal Network Women’s Leadership Programme, Hon. Chisangano, MP said women are the key decision makers in any nation and that the training will help every Member of Parliament to exchange and sharpen ideas on what must be done in making women count in decision making.

The Parliamentary Reforms Programme (PRP) Department of the National Assembly of Zambia recently conducted a series of orientation workshops for newly recruited staff in Constituency Offices. The most recent of these workshops was conducted in Kitweat plot 35 lodge from 12th to 15th September 2022.
