HONOURABLE DR KALILA SCOOPS CPA CHAIRMANSHIP POSITION

Member of Parliament for Lukulu East Hon. Dr. Christopher Kalila has made history as the second Zambian and fifth in African to be elected as Chairperson of the Commonwealth Parliamentary Association (CPA) Executive Committee. His election took place in a closely contested race during the 67th Commonwealth Parliamentary Conference, held in Sydney, Australia. The term of office is three years.

Hon Chisangano Urges Parents to Foster Conducive Environments for Child Development

First Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly of Zambia, Honourable Malungo Chisangano has urged parents to support and nurture children under conducive domestic environments.

Speaking when she officially opened the National Dialogue on Childcare, held under the theme “Investment in the early years: A Strategic Action for Human Capital Development,” Hon, Chisangano said that such environments are important for raising responsible children who can contribute effectively towards the country’s development.
