President Hichilema opens the Third Session of the Thirteenth National Assembly of Zambia

His Excellency the President Mr Hakainde Hichilema, President of the Republic of Zambia opened the Third Session of the Thirteenth National Assembly of Zambia.

In His Address to the nation, President Hichilema outlined his Government’s priorities for the coming year. Including economic recovery, improvement of health delivery services, poverty reduction and job creation among others. He also called for unity and cooperation among Zambians to ensure the country moves forward.

MPs urged to put Zambia's interests first

The Zambian Embassy in Brussels, Belgium, received four Members of Parliament, who are attending the Organisation of African, Caribbean, and Pacific States (OACPS) Parliamentary Assembly, as well as the OACPS and European Union Joint Parliamentary Assembly (JPA). The Meetings are discussing various issues from Democracy and Politics to Trade and Economics. Zambia is Chair of the Committee on Economic Development, Finance and Trade of the OACPS Assembly and Co-Chair of the same Committee of the ACP-EU JPA.
