431 Mr L J Ngoma (Sinda) - to ask the Vice President:
(a) what documents will be required to be produced before Electoral Commission of Zambia officers during nominations as candidates for Member of Parliament and Councillor; and
The objects of this Bill are to -
(a) provide for the administration and management of the Compensation Fund established under Article 209 of the Constitution;
(b) establish the Compensation Function Committee and provide for its composition and functions;
(c) provide for the accounting and audit of the Fund; and
(d) provide for matters connected with, or incidental to, the foregoing.
The objects of this Bill are to-
(a) enhance the independence and autonomy of the National Audit Office and strengthen its functions;
(b) provide a framework for promoting efficiency, accountability, effectiveness and transparency of public administration through effective oversight and audit of public funds and performance;
(c) domesticate the principles of United Nations Resolution A/66/209 on promoting efficiency, accountability, effectiveness and transparency of supreme audit institutions;
