NATIONAL ASSEMBLY SOLICITS MEDIA SUPPORT IN COMMUNICATION STRATEGY IMPLEMENTATION

Acting Clerk of the National Assembly Mrs Cecilia Mbewe has called on the media to support the National Assembly of Zambia in the implementation of the Communication Strategy for the institution if it is to succeed.  Mrs Mbewe said that the media is strategic in the implementation of the programme hence the need to engage them and solicit for support early before the programme is rolled out.

Marking the 2017 International Day of Democracy (IDD) on 15 September, the IPU is celebrating two important milestones: the 10th anniversary of the IDD and the 20th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Democracy.
