NAZ Participates in the 9th SoCATT Professional Development Seminar

The National Assembly of Zambia delegation led by the Acting Deputy Clerk (Administration), Mr. Sage Samuwika is participation in the 9th Society of Clerks-At-The-Table (SoCATT) Professional Development Seminar being hosted by the National Assembly of Botswana in Gaborone, from 9th to 13th March, 2026.

The Civil Aviation (Amendment) Bill, 2026

The object of this Bill is to amend the Civil Aviation Act so as
to —
(a) enhance the regulation and oversight of civil aviation
security;
(b) revise penalties relating to offenses committed on board
a civil aircraft;
(c) provide for the declaration of danger areas and prohibited
areas; and
(d) provide for matters connected with, or incidental to, the
foregoing.
 

FIRST DEPUTY SPEAKER GRACES INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY IN CHIRUNDU DISTRICT

Hon Malungo A Chisangano, MP, graced the commemoration of the International Women’s Day in Chirundu District on Sunday, 8th March, 2026, where she joined hundreds of women and community members in celebrating the achievements and contributions of women in society.

Speaker Mutti joins the Nation in commemorating Women’s Day

The Speaker of the National Assembly of Zambia, the Rt. Hon. Dr. Nelly B.K. Mutti, SC, MP, FAPRA, today, 8th March 2026, joined the nation in commemorating International Women's Day held under the theme “Rights. Justice. Action for ALL Women and Girls.”

Dr. Mutti led staff from the National Assembly of Zambia in taking part in the national commemorations alongside other stakeholders.
