ZAMBIA’S CENTENARY ON 17TH AUGUST, 2011

Mr Speaker: Hon. Members, the following announcement is of both historic and historical proportions.

Value Added Tax Act

An Act to impose a tax on the supply of goods and services in Zambia and the

importation of goods into Zambia; to repeal the Sales Tax Act and the

Insurance Levies Act; and to provide for matters connected with or incidental

to the foregoing.
