The Minister of Home Affairs and Acting Leader of Government Business (Mr Lungu): Mr Speaker, I rise to give the House some idea of the business the House will consider next week.

Zambia Institute of Architects Act

An Act to provide for the establishment of the Zambia Institute of Architects; to

provide for the functions of the Institute; to constitute the Council of the

Zambia Institute of Architects; to provide for the qualifications for membership

and registration of architects; and to provide for matters connected with or

incidental to the foregoing.

Factories Act

An Act to make further and better provision for the regulation of the conditions of

employment in factories and other places as regards the safety, health and

welfare of persons employed therein; to provide for the safety, examination

and inspection of certain plant and machinery; and to provide for purposes

incidental to or connected with the matters aforesaid.

Petroleum (Exploration and Production) Act

An Act to regulate petroleum exploration, development and production in Zambia;

to provide for title to and control of petroleum in Zambia; to provide for the

establishment of a Petroleum Committee; to define the functions and powers

of the Committee; to regulate contracts relating to petroleum operations; and

to provide for matters connected with or incidental to the foregoing.

    (a)    what the total funding to the Forestry Development Credit Facility (FDCF)         Programme was from 2006 to 2008; and 

Quantity Surveyors Act

An Act to establish a Quantity Surveyors Registration Board; to provide for the

registration of quantity surveyors and to provide for matters connected with or

incidental to the foregoing.

Higher Authority for Power (Special Provisions) Act

An Act to provide for the membership of the Higher Authority for Power constituted

by the Federation of Rhodesia and Nyasaland (Dissolution) Order in Council,

1963.
