Rhodesia Railways Act, 1949

An Act to empower the Rhodesia Railways to provide for the operation and

maintenance of rail transport within Zambia; to provide for the acquisition by

and transfer to them of the undertakings, property, obligations and liabilities

within Zambia of the Rhodesia Railways Limited; to exempt their receipts and

accruals from income tax; to provide for the regulation and control of their

charges; to provide for the recognition of trade unions of their employees and

for the prevention and settlement of disputes between them and their

Railways Transfer of Statutory Powers Act

An Act to authorise the transfer of the title, rights, powers and privileges for the

construction, maintenance and working of certain lines of railway.

Mufulira-Mokambo Railway Act

An Act to make provision for the construction of a line of railway from a point near

Mokambo Siding to a point near Mufulira; and to provide for matters incidental

to or connected therewith.

Roan Antelope Branch Railway Act

An Act to make provision for the construction of a line of railway from a point near

Bwana Mkubwa to a point near the Roan Antelope Mine; and to provide for

matters incidental to or connected therewith.

Mashona Railway Company Limited Act

An Act to make provision for the construction of a line of railway from Kalomo to

the Broken Hill Mine in the Central Province; and to provide for matters

incidental to or connected therewith.

Rhodesia Railways Act

An Act to make provision for the construction of a line of railway from a point near

the Victoria Falls to Kalomo; and to provide for matters incidental to or

connected therewith.

Nkana-Nchanga Branch Railway Act

An Act to make provision for the construction of a line of railway from a point near

Bwana Mkubwa to a point near the Nchanga Mine; and to provide for matters

incidental to or connected therewith.

Railways (Deviations) Act

An Act to empower railway companies to make deviations; to make provision for

the acquisition of land therefor; and to provide for matters incidental to or

connected therewith.

Zambia Tanzania Pipeline Act

An Act to grant rights, or to provide for the granting of rights, over land to a

company known as the TAZAMA Pipelines Limited; and to provide for matters

connected with or ancillary to the foregoing.

Tanzania-Zambia Railway Act

An Act to give effect to the Agreement relating to the Tanzania-Zambia Railway

made between the Government of the United Republic of Tanzania and the

Government of the Republic of Zambia, dated 28th September, 1993; to

provide for the continued existence of the Tanzania-Zambia Railway Authority;

to provide for a Council of Ministers and a Board of Directors; to define the

functions and powers of the Authority, the Council and the Board; to provide

for and regulate the manner in which the Tanzania-Zambia Railway Authority
