An Act to empower the Rhodesia Railways to provide for the operation and

maintenance of rail transport within Zambia; to provide for the acquisition by

and transfer to them of the undertakings, property, obligations and liabilities

within Zambia of the Rhodesia Railways Limited; to exempt their receipts and

accruals from income tax; to provide for the regulation and control of their

charges; to provide for the recognition of trade unions of their employees and

for the prevention and settlement of disputes between them and their

employees and for the regulation by agreement and arbitration of conditions

of employment and other matters of mutual interest to them and their

employees; and for other purposes connected with the matters aforesaid
