The Secretary-General of the Commonwealth Parliamentary Association (CPA), Mr Akbar Khan has underlined the crucial role that parliament can play in encouraging youth engagement in the political process, especially with the 60% of the 2.4 billion population of the Commonwealth who are aged under 30, during a visit to the CPA Singapore Branch and the Parliament of Singapore.

Turkish Ambassador Sebnem Incesu Fosters Turkey- Zambia Bilateral Ties

Turkish Ambassador to Zambia, Her Excellency Sebnem Incesu, on Tuesday 25th April, 2017 paid a courtesy call on the Speaker of the National Assembly of Zambia Rt. Hon. Justice, Dr. Patrick Matibini, SC, MP. Ambassador Incesu’s visit was intended to foster and strengthen bilateral ties between Turkey and Zambia.

WORK TO OUT- CLASS, EARN PROMOTION

Clerk of the National Assembly, Mrs Doris Katai K Mwiinga has implored the National Assembly football team to work hard and earn promotion to the premier league in 2018. She said the team deserves to play in the elite league of Zambian Football in the 2018 season.

Mrs Mwinga has told the players that they should not only play for promotion but to out-class their competitors in the Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) Division One Zone 1 during the 2017 season.
