PRESENCE OF PUPILS AND TEACHERS FROM NDABENI ACADEMY, LUSAKA

FIRST DEPUTY SPEAKER BEMOANS LOW PARTICIPATION AND REPRESENTATION OF YOUTHS IN PARLIAMENT

First Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly of Zambia, Honourable Malungo Chisangano, MP, says youth participation and representation in formal political processes and policy making remain relatively low on a global scale. She said this is evidenced by the few young people who occupy roles within formal institutions such as Parliament, public administration and key decision-making positions.

Clerk of the National Assembly Calls on Z.R.A For Enhanced Cooperation to Strengthen Budget Oversight

The Clerk of the National Assembly of Zambia, Mr. Roy Ngulube, has called for closer collaboration between the National Assembly and the Zambia Revenue Authority (ZRA) to improve budget approval and oversight processes.

He said this during the official opening of the Tax Sensitization Workshop for Members of Parliament, organized by the Zambia Revenue Authority in partnership with the National Assembly of Zambia, on Saturday, 16th November, 2024, at Avani Victoria Falls Resort.
