European Union financed Support to the National Assembly Project trains Members of the Committee on Economic Affairs, Energy and Labour on the implementation of Public Private Partnerships in Zambia.

Mazabuka Central Member of Parliament, Honourable Gary Nkombo, MP, who was acting Chairperson of the Committee on Economic Affairs, Energy and Labour, implored Members of the Committee to understand the implementation of the Public Private Partnership (PPP) policy in Zambia as the Committee engages stakeholders during the upcoming meetings.

 

European Union financed Support to the National Assembly Project trains Members of the Budget Committee on Subsidies, Fiscal Decentralisation and the Budget Process

Chairperson of the Budget Committee Hon. Mwalimu Simfukwe says major strides have been made to enhance the role of Parliament in the Budget Process through the various reforms taking place in the National Assembly.

He said this when he officially opened the Capacity Enhancement Training Workshop for Members of the Budget Committee that was held at Intercontinental Hotel, in Lusaka, from 14th to 15th January, 2017.

Supplementary Appropriation (2014)

An Act to confirm the supplementary expenditure of monies aggregating three billion, five hundred and thirty-eight million, eight hundred and sixty-seven thousand and twenty-four kwacha required for the services of the Republic during the financial year ended on 31st December, 2014.

Date of Assent: 18th November, 2016 

An Act to approve the excess expenditure of monies aggregating five hundred and seventy-three thousand, six hundred and thirty-five kwacha. 

ENACTED by the Parliament of Zambia.
