Parliamentarians pledge to fight for female inmates


Members of Parliament have pledged to fight for the rights of the female inmates at Mukobeko Correctional facility in Kabwe.  Delivering a vote of thanks on behalf of the Parliamentarians, on Wednesday, 25th April, 2018, Member of Parliament for Kanyama Constituency, Mrs Elizabeth Phiri said much has to be done to improve the sanitation at the facility.

Mpika Central Member of Parliament and Minister in the Office of the Vice President, Hon. Sylvia Chalikosa has called on residents of her Constituency to use the Constituency Office as a link between her and themselves. She said this in her welcoming remarks at the Road and Mounted show organised by the National Assembly of Zambia at Musakanya market in Mpika on Saturday, 21st April 2018.

OFFICIAL OPENING OF THE 4th CPA AFRICA REGION YOUTH PARLIAMENT HELD AT AFRICANA HOTEL IN KAMPALA, UGANDA FROM 14TH TO 19TH APRIL, 2018.

The 4th Commonwealth Parliamentary Association (CPA) Africa Region Youth Parliament was held at Africana Hotel in Kampala, Uganda from 14th to 19th April, 2018 under the theme, “Securing a better future for Africa: Role of the youth”. The term of the Youth Parliament is two (2) years. The current Youth Parliament was sworn in during the 3rd Youth Parliament held in Lusaka, Zambia, in 2014 and its term ends at the 4th Youth Parliament which is being held in Kampala, Uganda.
