Bill to provide for the functions of the Drug Enforcement Commission; revise and consolidate the law relating to narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances and precursor chemicals; provide for special measures relating to the prevention, treatment and rehabilitation of victims of drug abuse; repeal and replace the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1993, domesticate the Convention on Psychotropic Substances 1971, the United Nations Convention against Illicit Traffic in Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances, 1998 and the United Nations Convention against Transnational Organise

The Industrial Hemp Bill, 2021

Bill to provide for the licensing of growers, processors, distributors, buyers, exporters of and researchers on industrial hemp; provide for the production and multiplication of industrial hemp; provide for the import and export of industrial hemp; and provide for matters connected with, or incidental to, the foregoing.

The Health Professions (Amendment) Bill, 2021

The object of this Bill is to amend the Health Professions Act, 2009, so as to revise the provisions relating to training.

The Data Protection Act, 2021

An Act to provide an effective system for the use and protection of personal data; regulate the collection, use, transmission, storage and otherwise processing of personal data; establish the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner and provide for its functions; the registration of data controllers and licencing of data auditors; provide for the duties of data controllers and data processors; provide for the rights of data subjects; and provide for matters connected with, or incidental to, the foregoing.
