HWPL appoints Peace Advocacy Committee to implement peace in South Africa

HWPL and community leaders team up to tackle conflict in Cape Town Cape Town, South Africa– While news of gang violence in the communities of  Manenberg and Bonteheuwel has taken over the front pages in the last few weeks, news that will stabilize the communities and restore peace was
brought on the 15th of April, 2016. It was that Heavenly Culture, World Peace, Restoration of Light (HWPL, Chairman Man Hee Lee) held the first HWPL Peace Advocacy Committee Appointment Ceremony in South Africa.

HWPL International Law Peace Committee proclaimed the Declaration of Peace and Cessation of War on the 14th of March in Seoul, South Korea. The Declaration is composed of 10 Articles and 38 clauses which include prohibition of division or separation of nations, resolve religious conflicts, establishment of policies for peace, and practicing the Peace Education supervised at government level.

 South Africa HWPL Peace Advocacy Committee consists of Barbara Rass, Councillor for the City of Cape Town, Eleanor Duploy Youth coordinator at the Institute for Justice and Reconciliation, Casper Wascherfort, Member of the International law Association South Africa,Princess Pumla Matshaya,
Princess of the Royal Aba Thembu Kingdom, Naomi Madima, Public Relations Officer of Freedom Park, Lindiwe Khoza Chief Executive Officer of South African Women in Dialogue (SAWID) and from Young UN Women.

The committee works to promote the Declaration and let people urge the enforcement of the eclaration by signing a document regarding this, and to bring the proposal up to the United Nations to intensify the already  existing International Law. They will also collaborate for appointing HWPL Peace Academy, establishment of Peace Monument, and Peace Walk.

Some of the committee members had this to say at the appointment ceremony, Barbara Rass said that “I will take the pledge, so that people become more aware of what peace is and why the government needs to participate and win the signatures of the International Law”. She also shared that “I will be
part of the runners and use every platform to spread the gospel of peace”.

Londiwe Khoza said, “I will encourage our South Africans starting with my family and colleagues. I hope in the future we will be talking peace everywhere other than war/crime.”
Eleanor Duploy said, “The importance of living in a peace county is essential”, and Eleanor continued, “We should make people see that this work of peace relates to themselves and that everyone can benefit in the terms of enjoying the fruit of peace and law that improve the ability to self-actualization”.

HWPL is an international peace organization which has around 100 branches of itself in all around the world. It has been actively working for the implementation the implementation of the International Law on the Cessation of War and Achievement of World Peace and for the interfaith harmony in religions that actually are effective enough to approach the cessation of any kinds of violence.
