National Assembly Continues to Uphold Freedom of Religion

Second Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly of Zambia, Honourable Moses F. Moyo, MP, said that the National Assembly remains committed to upholding and protecting internationally recognized human rights, including the right to freedom of religion or belief.

He made this statement during a courtesy call on him by the UN Special Rapporteur on Freedom of Religion or Belief, Professor Nazila Ghanea, on Monday, 31st March 2025, at Parliament Buildings.
