Zambia Institute of Public Relations and Communication Act, 2022.

An Act to continue the existence of the Zambia Public Relations Association and re-name it as Zambia Institute of Public Relations and Communication and re-define its functions; provide for registration of public relations and communication professionals; regulate public relations and communication professionals conduct; constitute the Council of the Institute and provide for its functions; and provide for matters connected with, or incidental to, the foregoing.

The Bank of Zambia Act, 2022

An Act to provide for the additional functions, operations and management of the Bank of Zambia; provide for the composition of the Board of Directors of the Bank of Zambia and provide for their functions; provide for the establishment of the Monetary Policy Committee and the Financial Stability Committee and provide for their functions; repeal and replace the Bank of Zambia Act, 1996; and provide for matters connected with, or incidental to, the foregoing.

The Supplementary Appropriation (2022) Act, 2022.

An Act to authorise supplementary expenditure from the Consolidated Fund of monies required for the services of the Republic during the financial year ending 31st December 2022, not exceeding in the aggregate twenty-two billion, three hundred fifty-seven million, six hundred eighty-five thousand, four hundred fifty-seven kwacha.

The Anti-Human Trafficking (Amendment) Bill, 2022

 

The object of this Bill is to amend the Anti-Human Trafficking Act, 2008 so as to—

(a) prohibit the trafficking of children;
(b) provide for the certification of victims of trafficking in

persons;

(c) establish the Anti-Human Trafficking Department and provide for its functions;

(d) reconstitute the Committee on Human Trafficking and provide for its functions; and

Supplementary Appropriation(2022) Bill, 2022

The object of this Bill is to authorise supplementary expenditure from the Consolidated Fund of monies required for the services of the Republic during the financial year ending on 31st December, 2022, in excess of monies appropriated for the services of the Republic by the Appropriation Act, 2021.

The Children’s Code Bill, 2022

The objects of this Bill are to—
(a) reform and consolidate the law relating to children;

(b) provide for parental responsibility, custody, maintenance, guardianship, foster care, adoption, care and protection of children;

(c) provide for the grant of legal aid to, and establish procedures for the treatment of, children in conflict with the law;

(d) provide for the making of social welfare reports in respect of a child in conflict with the law;

The Public Roads (Amendment) Bill, 2022.

The object of this Bill is to amend the Public Roads Act, 2002 so as to—
(a) revise the composition of the Board of the Agency and re-define its functions;
(b) provide for the protection of execution of judgements against the property of the Agency; and
(c) provide for matters connected with, or incidental to, the foregoing.
