34    Mr Mutale (Chitambo)    -    to ask the Minister of Education:

(a)    whether the Government has any plans to procure furniture and teaching materials for the Early Childhood Education pupils in Chitambo Parliamentary Constituency;
(b)    if so, when the plans will be implemented; and
(c)    if there are no such plans, why.

35    Mr Mukosa (Chinsali)    -    to ask the Minister of Health:

(a)    whether the Government has any plans to construct a mothers’ shelter at Chinsali General Hospital; 
(b)    if so, when the plans will be implemented; and
(c)    if there are no such plans, why.

36    Mr Mutale (Chitambo)    -    to ask the Minister of Education when the following Secondary Schools in Chitambo Parliamentary Constituency will be included on the Establishment Register:

(a)    Chipaata;

(b)    Mabonde;

(c)    Kafinda;

(d)    Misumba; and

(e)    Mpelembe.

37    Mr Mutale (Chitambo)    -    to ask the Minister of Energy:

(a)    whether the Government has any plans to electrify the following facilities in Chitambo Parliamentary Constituency:

(i)    Lusenga Primary School;        (x)      Kafinda Health Post;    

(ii)    Kafinda Primary School;        (xi)      Chalilo Health Post;    

(iii)    Chalilo Primary School;       (xii)      Chipundu Health Post;

(iv)    Chipundu Primary School;       (xiii)  Mpelembe Health Post;

(v)    Mpelembe Primary School;       (xiv)  Katonga Health Post;

(vi)    Katonga Primary School;       (xv)   Lulimala Health Post;

(vii)    Lulimala Primary School;       (xvi)  Chief Chitambo’s Palace; and

(viii)    Lusenga Secondary School;  (xvii)  David Livingstone Memorial 
  Site;
(ix)    Mpelembe Secondary School;      

(b)    if so, when the project will commence; and
(c)    if there are no such plans, why.

38    Mr Mukosa (Chinsali)    -    to ask the Minister of Infrastructure, Housing and Urban Development:

(a)    whether the Government has any plans to rehabilitate the Mbesuma - Kafwimbi road in Chinsali District; 
(b)    if so, when the plans will be implemented; 
(c)    what the estimated cost of the project is; and
(d)    what the estimated time frame for the completion of the project is.

QUESTIONS FOR WRITTEN ANSWER 

W1    Mr Mushanga (Bwacha)        -    to ask the Minister of Infrastructure, Housing and Urban Development:

(a)    how many kilometres had been constructed in Bwacha Parliamentary Constituency as of August, 2021; 
(b)    how many kilometres had been completed; 
(c)    how many kilometres are yet to be constructed;
(d)    what the total cost of the project is;
(e)    how much money the contractor had been paid as of August, 2021; 
(f)    what the outstanding amount owed to the contractor was, as of the same date;
(g)    what the cause of delay in paying the contractor is.

W2     Mr Mushanga (Bwacha)        -    to ask the Minister of Fisheries and Livestock:

(a)    how many women groups had benefitted from the distribution of the following under the Women Empowerment Programme in Bwacha Parliamentary Constituency as of August, 2021:

(i)    chickens; and
(ii)    goats;

(b)    how the programme has benefitted the women’s clubs in the Constituency;
(c)    whether the Government will continue implementing the women and youth empowerment programmes; and
(d)    what the criteria for one to benefit from the empowerment programmes are.
