QUESTIONS FOR ORAL ANSWER (STANDING ORDER 74)
8 Mr Mumba (Kantanshi) - to ask the Minister of Finance and National Planning:
(a) what the progress on the discussions between the Zambian Government and the International Monetary Fund on the bailout package is;
(b) whether there are any conditions attached to the disbursement of the package; and
(c) if so, what the conditions are.
9 Mr Miyutu (Kalabo Central) - to ask the Minister of Health:
(a) whether the Government has any plans to deploy additional doctors to Kalabo District Hospital;
(b) if so, when the plans will be implemented; and
(c) how many doctors will be deployed.
10 Mr Mukosa (Chinsali) - to ask the Minister of Infrastructure, Housing and Urban Development when the Government will rehabilitate the Great North Road between Serenje and Chinsali Districts.
11 Mr Samakayi (Mwinilunga) - to ask the Minister of Commerce, Trade and Industry:
(a) when the fruit processing plant in Mwinilunga District will become operational;
(b) what the cause of the delay in operationlising the plant is;
(c) whether there are any plans to encourage the local people to venture into fruit farming, especially on outgrower scheme basis;
(d) if so, what the plans are; and
(e) if there are no such plans, why.
