Zambian Legislators in the Fight against Covid-19
Zambian law makers have for several months now, been undertaking sensitisation activities and donating materials in their constituencies towards the fight against Covid19. The parliamentarians while working together with members of staff in the Constituency offices and various stakeholders have undertaken sensitisation activities and made donations in different parts of their constituencies such as police stations, schools, markets and hospitals. Some of the constituencies where such activities have been undertaken include; Munali, Kasempa, Chembe, Livingstone, Kawambwa, Nalikwanda, Nchanga and Chilanga.
The efforts of Members of Parliament in the fight against the Coronavirus Disease are vital as constituents are likely to respond and adhere to messages being championed by their elected representatives; especially when the parliamentarians are working on the ground with the people.
