CHIMBAMILONGA CONSTITUENCY OFFICE SENSITISES KAPISHA WARD
Chimbamilonga Constituency Office conducted an outreach programme in Chibanga and Mushi villages in Kapisha ward to sensitize the constituents on the roles of the Member of Parliament and Constituency Office. The event that took place on Monday, 5th August, 2019 was attended by over 600 people and included, local cultural groups who through their performances disseminated information on the work and activities of the National Assembly. In addition, the Constituency officers provided information to the constituents and also took note of the queries raised for the attention of the Member of Parliament.
Kapisha ward is about 50 km from the Chimbamilonga Constituency Office. Therefore, the event provided a rare opportunity for engagement and received overwhelming feedback from constituents who had a lot of questions to ask on how they could access the office and the Member of Parliament.
