(a) why Electridade de Mozambique has suspended the supply of electric power to Zesco Limited;
 
(b) how many megawatts were being imported by Zesco Limited;
 
(c) what the impact of the suspension of power supply on the Zambian electricity consumers is; and
 
(d) what the way forward on the matter is.

307 Mr Ng’onga (Kaputa) - to ask the Minister of Health:
 
(a) what legal framework governs the fight against HIV/AIDS programmes in Zambia;
 
(b) whether the current legal framework is sufficient to address the challenges in the fight against the HIV/AIDS pandemic;
 
(c) if not, whether the Government has any plans to introduce legislation to strengthen the current legal framework; and
 
(d) if so, when the plans will be implemented.
 
308 Mr Mwila (Chimwemwe) - to ask the Minister of General Education:
 
(a) how many fraudulent academic and professional certificates were detected by the Examinations Council of Zambia in 2016; 
 
(b) whether the Government has any plans to verify the academic and professional qualifications for all civil servants; and
 
(c) what plans the Government has to deal with civil servants with fraudulent qualifications.
 
309 Mr Mulunda (Siavonga) - to ask the Minister of Energy:
 
(a) whether the Government has any plans to revive the Gwembe Tonga Development Project in the Gwembe Valley area;
 
(b) why the project was discontinued;
 
(c) whether the funds for the project are still available; and
 
(d) if so, who is managing the funds.
 
310 Mr Mulusa (Solwezi Central) - to ask the Minister of Labour and Social Security:
 
(a) whether the Government is aware that over 200 Zambian workers at First Quantum Minerals Limited (FQM) in Solwezi Central Parliamentary Constituency were declared redundant while expatriates were left in their positions; and
 
(b) if so, what measures are being taken to protect Zambian workers at FQM and other mining companies, countrywide.
 
311 Mr C Zulu (Luangeni) - to ask the Minister of Youth, Sport and Child Development:
 
(a) what the source of the problem at City of Lusaka Football Club, which has given rise to two camps, is;
 
(b) why it has taken long to resolve the problem;
 
(c) whether the Government has any plans to assist in resolving the problem; and
 
(d) if so, when a solution will be found.

(a) why the construction works on a science laboratory at Kashima West Secondary School in Mufumbwe District have stalled;
 
(b) when the works will resume; and
 
(c) what the time frame for the completion of the project is.
 
W63 Mr Kamondo (Mufumbwe) - to ask the Minister of Housing and Infrastructure Development:
 
(a) when the construction of additional classroom blocks at the following secondary schools in Mufumbwe Parliamentary Constituency will commence:
 
(i) Kashima West;
(ii) Kabipupu; and
(iii) Jairos Tumpa;
 
(b) what has caused the delay in commencing the projects; and
 
(c) what the estimated cost of each project is.
 
W64 Mr Ng’onga (Kaputa) - to ask the Minister of Housing and Infrastructure Development:
 
(a) when contracts for tarring the following roads were signed:
 
(i) Chiengi-Kaputa; and
(ii) urban roads in Kaputa District;
 
(b) who the contractor for each project is;
 
(c) what the time frame for completing each project is; and
 
(d) what the scope of works for each project is.
 
W65 Mr Ng’onga (Kaputa) - to ask the Minister of Housing and Infrastructure Development:
 
(a) when the contract to rehabilitate 50 kilometres of feeder roads in Kaputa District was signed;
 
(b) who the contractor for the project is;
 
(c) when works on the project will commence; and
 
(d) what the time frame for the completion of the project is.
 
W66 Mr Mukosa (Chinsali) - to ask the Minister of Housing and Infrastructure Development when the next phase of the construction of the Robert Kapasa Makasa University in Chinsali District will commence.
 
W67 Mr Mukosa (Chinsali) - to ask the Minister of Housing and Infrastructure Development:
 
(a) when the construction of the Chinsali General Hospital will be completed;
 
(b) who the contractor for the project is;
 
(c) how much money has been paid to the contractor so far; and
 
(d) how much work, in percentage terms, is still outstanding on the project.
 
W68 Mr Mukosa (Chinsali) - to ask the Minister of Local Government:
 
(a) whether the Government has any plans to construct a modern market in Chinsali District;
 
(b) if so, when the plans will be implemented; and
 
(c) if there are no such plans, why.
 
W69 Mr Samakayi (Mwinilunga) - to ask the Minister of Housing and Infrastructure Development:
 
(a) why the rehabilitation of the Solwezi-Mwinilunga road has stalled;
 
(b) when the works  will resume;
 
(c) what the cost of the project is; and
 
(d) how much money has been paid to the contractor so far.
 
W70 Mr Samakayi (Mwinilunga) - to ask the Minister of Health:
 
(a) when an ambulance for Mwinilunga District Hospital will be procured to replace the one that was involved in a road accident in 2015;
 
(b) whether the ambulance was insured;
 
(c) what has caused the delay in replacing the ambulance;
 
(d) whether there was any negligence on the part of the officials who were involved in the accident;
 
(e) if so, what punitive measures have been taken against the erring officials; and
 
(f) what measures have been taken to curb the abuse of Government motor vehicles in the District.
 
W71 Mr Lufuma (Kabompo) - to ask the Minister of Health:
 
(a) whether the Government has any plans to construct a second level hospital in Kabompo District;
 
(b) if so, when the plans will be implemented;
 
(c) what the estimated scope of works is;
 
(d) what the estimated cost of the project is; and
 
(e) if there are no such plans, why.
 
W72 Ms Tambatamba (Kasempa) - to ask the Minister of Local Government:
 
(a) when modern structures will be constructed at the following markets in Kasempa District:
 
(i) Kasempa Central;
(ii) Musamba, in Muselepete Township; and
(iii) Nselauke; and
 
(b) when the markets will be electrified.
 
W73 Mr Ndalamei (Sikongo) - to ask the Minister of Housing and Infrastructure Development when the following infrastructure will be constructed at Nyengo Day Secondary School in Sikongo District:
 
(a) a laboratory;
 
(b) additional classroom blocks; and
 
(c) teachers’ houses.
 
W74 Mr Zimba (Chasefu) - to ask the Minister of Fisheries and Livestock:
 
(a) why the construction of dip tanks in the following areas in Chasefu Parliamentary Constituency has stalled:
(i) Luwelezi; 
(ii) Egichikeni; and
(iii) Kamzoole; and
 
(b) when the projects will resume.
 
W75 Mr Chisopa (Mkushi South) - to ask the Minister of Community Development and Social Welfare:
 
(a) whether there are any women empowerment programmes being implemented by the Government in Chitambo Parliamentary Constituency;
 
(b) if so, how many women benefitted from the programmes in 2017; and
 
(c) when the Government will establish skills training centres for women in the Constituency.
 
W76 Mr Kunda (Muchinga) - to ask the Minister of Fisheries and Livestock:
 
(a) whether the Government has any plans to give goats to peasant farmers in Muchinga Parliamentary Constituency for purposes of empowering them; 
 
(b) if so, how many goats will be given in 2018; and
 
(c) if there are no such plans, why.
 
W77 Mr Kunda (Muchinga) - to ask the Minister of Energy when the construction of a power generation plant at Kundalila Falls in Muchinga Parliamentary Constituency will commence.
 
W78 Ms M Miti (Vubwi) - to ask the Minister of Housing and Infrastructure Development:
 
(a) when the construction of the following infrastructure in Vubwi District will resume:
 
(i) a civic centre; and
(ii) a post office;
 
(b) why the works on the two projects have stalled;
 
(c) who the contractor for each project is; and
 
(d) what the time frame for the completion of each project is.
 
W79 Ms Mwape (Mkushi North) - to ask the Minister of Local Government:
 
(a) when the rehabilitation of the following feeder roads in Mkushi District will commence:
 
(i) Musofu; and
(ii) Fiwila;
 
(b) what has caused the delay in commencing the projects;
 
(c) what the time frame for the completion of each project is; and
 
(d) what the cost of each project is.
 
W80 Dr Musokotwane (Liuwa) - to ask the Minister of Home Affairs:
 
(a) when the Government will establish an immigration post at Litapuya in Liuwa Parliamentary Constituency;
 
(b) whether the Government is aware that Zambians travelling to Angola through Litapuya are harassed; and
 
(c) if so, what measures are being taken to protect the Zambian travellers.
 
W81 Ms Mwape (Mkushi North) - to ask the Minister of Home Affairs:
 
(a) when the upgrading of the Masansa Police Post in Mkushi North Parliamentary Constituency to a police station will commence; and
 
(b) when a motor vehicle will be procured for the Police Post to enhance its operations.
 
W82 Mr Lufuma (Kabompo) - to ask the Minister of Finance what measures have been taken to ensure that the Eurobond which will mature in 2022, is paid on the due date.
 
W83 Ms P Jere (Lumezi) - to ask the Minister of Fisheries and Livestock:
 
(a) whether Lumezi Parliamentary Constituency qualifies to benefit from the livestock restocking programme;
 
(b) if so, when the Government will commence the livestock restocking programme in the Constituency; and
 
(c) what the criteria for identifying constituencies to benefit from the programme are.
 
W84 Ms P Jere (Lumezi) - to ask the Minister of Water Development, Sanitation and Environmental Protection:
 
(a) whether the Government has any plans to sink community boreholes in Lumezi Parliamentary Constituency;
 
(b) if so, when the plans will be implemented; 
 
(c) how many boreholes are earmarked for sinking in 2018;
 
(d) what the time frame for the completion of the project is; and
 
(e) what the total cost of the project is.
 
W85 Mr Kasonso (Solwezi West) - to ask the Minister of Local Government:
 
(a) how many kilometres of township roads being tarred were completed as of April, 2018 in each of the following districts in the North-Western Province:
 
(i) Solwezi;
(ii) Mwinilunga; and
(i) Chavuma; 
 
(b) how much money had been spent on each project; and
 
(c) if no works had been undertaken, why.
 
W86 Mr Kasonso (Solwezi West) - to ask the Minister of Home Affairs:
 
(a) whether the Government has any plans to construct a modern correctional facility in Solwezi District; and
 
(b) if so, when the plans will be implemented.
 
W87 Mr Kintu (Solwezi East) - to ask the Minister of Health:
 
(a) whether the Government has any plans to construct maternity wings and mothers shelters at all health centres in Solwezi East Parliamentary Constituency;
 
(b) if so, when the plans will be implemented; and
 
(c) what immediate measures the Government is taking to prevent expectant mothers from delivering from their homes.
 
W88 Mr Kintu (Solwezi East) - to ask the Minister of Home Affairs:
 
(a) whether the Government has any plans to construct police posts in Solwezi East Parliamentary Constituency;
 
(b) if so, when the plans will be implemented;
 
(c) how many police posts are earmarked for construction in 2018; and
 
(d) where the police posts will be situated.
 
W89 Mr Mulunda (Siavonga) - to ask the Minister of General Education when the construction of dormitaries at Chaanga and Matua Secondary Schools in Siavonga District will commence.
 
W90 Mr Mulunda (Siavonga) - to ask the Minister of General Education when the upgrading of the following primary schools to secondary schools in Siavonga District will commence:
 
(a) Moonga;
 
(b) Bbakasa; and
 
(c) Sianyoolo.
 
W91 Mr Mulunda (Siavonga) - to ask the Minister of General Education: 
 
(a) whether the Government has any plans to procure computers for schools in the rural parts of Siavonga District in order to enhance the learning of Information Communication Technology; and
 
(b) if so, when the plans will be implemented.
