Parliament Bids Farewell to Late Hon. Victoria Kalima

On Saturday 16th June, 2018, parliamentarians joined the rest of the country in bidding farewell to Hon. Victoria Kalima who died at Maina Soko Hospital on Monday 11th June, 2018. MPs from both the ruling party and the opposition turned up in numbers during the burial ceremony of the late Minister of Gender who was put to rest at Leopards Hill Memorial Park.

Late Hon. Victoria Kalima served as Minister of Gender from 2016 until her death. She also served as Member of Parliament for Kasenengwa Constituency from 2011 to 2016 and was re-elected in the last elections held on 11th August 2016.
