Suspension of Standing Orders:  That Standing Orders 20 (1) and (2), 21, 22 (1), 26 and 32 be suspended to enable the House to sit from 0900 hours and to hear the President’s address until Business has been concluded on Friday, 16th March, 2018 and also to omit the Vice President’s Question Time from the Order Paper.
 
 
QUESTIONS FOR ORAL ANSWER (STANDING ORDER NO. 31)
 
238. Mr Mutelo (Mitete) - to ask the Minister of Health:
 
(a) whether the Government is aware about the adverse effects on the livelihoods of people affected by the extended fishing ban especially in areas that have not been affected by cholera;
 
(b) if so, what assistance will be extended to the affected people; and
 
(c) if no assistance will be provided, how the Government expects the affected people to survive considering that fishing is seasonal.
 
239. Mrs Chonya (Kafue) - to ask the Minister of Higher Education:
 
(a) why the sharing of rooms by students at the University of Zambia has been banned; and
 
(b) how the students who were ‘squatting’ will be accommodated when the institution re-opens.
 
240. Ms Katuta (Chiengi) - to ask the Minister of Information and Broadcasting:
 
(a) whether the Government is aware that the Zambia National Broadcasting Corporation employees have not been paid their salaries for February, 2018; 
 
(b) if so, when the salaries will be paid; and
 
(c) what measures have been taken to resolve the financial challenges at the institution.
