(a) whether the Government is aware of the presence of the Larger Grain Borers in the Northern and Eastern Provinces;

(b) if so, what measures are being taken to contain the insects;

(c) what effect is the presence of the Larger Grain Borers going to have on the national food security; and

(d) whether the presence of the Larger Grain Borers is going to affect the country’s export drive to the neighbouring countries.
