NATIONAL ASSEMBLY OF ZAMBIA ACCOMPLISH SECOND AT THE COMMEMORATION OF AFRICA PUBLIC SERVICE DAY

The National Assembly of Zambia joined other Government Ministries and Institutions in the commemoration of Africa Public Service Day (APSD) under the theme “Entrenching Citizen- Centered Service Delivery Culture: Partnering with the Youth for Africa’s Transformation”

The National Assembly of Zambia accomplished second place in category two (2) under the theme “Nurturing a Culture of Professionalism and Ethical Values in Zambia’s Public Service”

The Africa Public Service Day was preceded by a three day exhibition from 20th to 22nd June, 2017 at East Park Mall, Lusaka. It was the first time the National Assembly of Zambia was participating at APSD.

Africa Public Service Day is an event enshrined in the African Union calendar. It originates from the conference of African Ministers for Public or the Civil Service which was held in Morocco in 1994.
