Hon Mubukwanu urges parley staff to be professional

The Provincial Minister for Southern Province, Hon Nathaniel Mubukwanu has urged Parliamentary Staff to be professional and non-partisan in the way they carry out their duties.
Speaking when he officially opened the 17th Zimbabwe-Zambia Senior Parliamentary Staff Seminar on Tuesday, 28th June, 2016 in Livingstone, Hon Mubukwanu said Parliamentary Staff are key in creating an environment where political parties feel free to co-exist in the Legislature.  He therefore, expressed hope that the seminar would go a long way in shaping the way staff do business in their respective Parliaments.
And speaking at the same function, Clerk of the National Assembly, Mrs Doris K K Mwinga said the seminar is important because it enables staff of Parliaments to reflect and evaluate the manner in which they administer the affairs of the Legislature.  She emphasised the need for participants to share best practices in order for Parliaments to be effective in executing business.
Meanwhile, Livingstone Town Clerk, Ms Vivian Chikoti urged delegates to spare part of their busy schedule to explore Livingstone in order for their visit to be in full.  She encouraged all visitors to also consider visiting Livingstone in future as the city has a lot to offer especially in the area of tourism.
