NAZ employees applauded

The Deputy Clerk (Administration) of the National Assembly, Mrs. C N Mbewe has thanked all the National Assembly of Zambia (NAZ) employees for their hard work and commitment to duty and said that each one of them is important and deserved to be awarded. She said this when NAZ commemorated the Labour Day on 24th June, 2016 at Parliament Buildings under the theme “Celebrating the International Labour Movement”.
Mrs. C N Mbewe, who was speaking on behalf of NAZ management acknowledged each employee’s effort in ensuring that the desired goals of the institutions are achieved. She told the employees that even if only few of them would be awarded, the input and effort of each member of staff was highly appreciated.
Also in attendance during the celebrations was Mr. Felix Banda ‘Galamukani’, a motivation speaker who gave a talk to the employees. Among the important points Mr. Banda stressed was that we don’t win silver we lose gold. Therefore, there is need to account for one’s personal development and to reflect if one lives a life of goals.
The employees who were outstanding in their performance were each awarded a cash prize of K1, 000 and a certificate of achievement. The following were the categories under which staff were awarded:

Most hardworking employee- Mr. Nsofwa Bwalya, Gardener, Mr. Simon Zimba, Office Driver, Mrs. Sheila M. Mwenya, Transcriber and Mr. Patrick Mwale, Waiter.

Most improved employee- Mrs. Scholastica Chungu, Stenographer, Mr. Kennedy Mubanga Plumber Assistant, Mr. Garrison Chirwa, Security Officer and Mrs. Bridget Mulenga Senior Accounts Officer.

Most honest employee- Mr. Ernest Mwale, Office Driver, Mrs. Elizabeth C. Kanyata Personal Secretary, Mr. Ronald Mushili, Security Officer and Mr. Quiwany Mwiche, Stores officer.
The Deputy Clerk (Administration) congratulated all the recipients of awards on behalf of management and urged all staff not to relent in their execution of duties.
