377. Mr Mutinta (Itezhi-Tezhi)  -  to ask the Minister of Finance and National Planning:
 
(a) whether the Government is aware that some civil servants, especially teachers and health workers, have been experiencing loan deductions on their payslips for loans they did not obtain;
 
(b) if so, what immediate measures the Government is taking to curb the illegality; and
 
(c) what measures the Government is taking to help the workers recover their money.
 
 
6. PRIVATE MEMBER’S MOTION

Establish a Youth and Women Department under the Citizens Economic Empowerment Commission:  That, in order to provide easy access to empowerment funds by youths and women, this House urges the Government to establish a youth and women department under the Citizens Economic Empowerment Commission.

The Zambia Institute of Procurement and Supply - Bill to continue the existence of the Zambia Institute of Purchasing and Supply and re-name it as the Zambia Institute of Procurement  and Supply and re-define its functions; promote and enhance the procurement and supply profession; provide for the registration of procurement and supply professionals and procurement and supply firms, and regulate their practice and professional conduct; repeal and replace the Zambia Institute of Purchasing and Supply Act, 2003; and provide for matters connected with, or incidental to, the foregoing. The Minister of Agriculture
The Cotton - Bill to continue the existence of the Cotton Board of Zambia and re-define its functions; re-constitute the Board of the Cotton Board of Zambia and provide for its functions; provide for the stages of grading and classification of seed cotton; establish a Price Consultative Forum; provide for the establishment of seed production zones; repeal and replace the Cotton Act, 2005; and provide for matters connected with, or incidental to, the foregoing.
