The Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation – On Government’s response to the escalating security situation in the Middle East, official visit of the UN Special Rapporteur on freedom of opinion and expression, as well as communication from the Government of the United States of America regarding travel restrictions.
7. QUESTIONS FOR ORAL ANSWER (STANDING ORDER 80)
358. Mr Miyutu (Kalabo Central) - to ask the Minister of Technology and Science what measures the Government is taking to enhance the quality of education provided at skills training centres, countrywide.
359. Mr Fube (Chilubi) - to ask the Minister of Education:
(a) whether the Government has any plans to procure a boat for the District Education Board Secretary’s Office in Chilubi District;
(b) if so, when the boat will be procured;
(c) what the estimated cost of the boat is; and
(d) if there are no such plans, why.
360. Mr Kandafula (Serenje) - to ask the Minister of Local Government and Rural Development:
(a) whether the Government has any plans to construct a road connecting Kashishi and Lupiya Wards in Serenje Parliamentary Constituency;
(b) if so, when the project will be implemented; and
(c) if there are no such plans, why.
