QUESTIONS FOR ORAL ANSWER (STANDING ORDER 74)
31. Mr Chanda (Kanchibiya) - to ask the Minister of Transport and Logistics:
(a) what measures the Government is taking to ensure that the Great Lakes Region becomes one of Zambia’s major export markets;
(b) how the Government intends to use Mpulungu Harbour as a gateway to the Great Lakes Region; and
(c) whether the Government has any plans to create shorter routes from the Copperbelt and North Western Provinces to Mpulungu Harbour to enable faster transportation of goods.
32. Mr Mtayachalo (Chama North) - to ask the Minister of Health:
(a) when the Government will repair the CT Scan machine at the University Teaching Hospital which has not been working since August, 2020; and
(b) what the cause of the delay in repairing the machine is.
33. Mr Tayengwa (Kabwata) - to ask the Minister of Home Affairs and Internal Security:
(a) whether the Government has any plans to construct staff houses at the following police posts in Kabwata Parliamentary Constituency:
(i) Maxwell Sibongo;
(ii) Mary Mwango;
(iii) Godfrey Miyanda; and
(iv) LucksonMapushi; and
(b) if so, when the plans will be implemented.
34. Mr Shakafuswa (Mandevu) - to askthe Minister of Youth, Sport and Arts:
(a) whether the Government has any plans to construct a stadium in Mandevu Parliamentary Constituency;
(b) if so, when the plans will be implemented; and
(c) what the cost of the project is.
35. Mr Siachisumo (Lufwanyama) - to ask the Minister of Infrastructure, Housing and Urban Development:
(a) whether the Government has any plans to tar the Chief Nkana-Kagem road in Lufwanyama District;
(b) if so, when the plans will be implemented; and
(c) if there are no such plans, why.
