293. Mr Mabenga (Mulobezi) - to ask the Minister of Transport and Logistics:

 

(a) whether the Government is aware that the suspension of the Mulobezi Train from operation has virtually cut off Mulobezi from Livingstone District, the main source of supplies, hence endangering the lives of the people of Mulobezi;

 

(b) why Bombwe Bridge on the Railway Line was not rehabilitated years back when it was realised the bridge was not safe for use by the train;

 

(c) whether the Zambia National Service would be engaged to re-construct the Bridge; and

 

(d) whether there are any immediate plans to rehabilitate the entire Railway Line.

 

 

294. Mr Amutike (Mongu Central) - to ask the Minister of Local Government and Rural Development:

 

(a) whether the Government has any plans to rehabilitate township roads in Mongu District, especially the Old Shoprite and Libonda roads; and

 

(b) if so, when the plans will be implemented.

 

295. Mr Kamondo (Mufumbwe) - to ask the Minister of Home Affairs and Internal Security:

 

(a) whether the Government has any plans to construct staff houses for the following institutions in Mufumbwe Parliamentary Constituency:

 

(i) Zambia Police Service; and

 

(ii) Zambia Correctional Service; and

 

(b) if so, when the plans will be implemented.
