QUESTION FOR ORAL ANSWER (STANDING ORDER 76)
178. Mr C Kang’ombe (Kamfinsa) - to ask the Minister of Finance and National Planning:
(a) whether the Government is aware that the increase in the Statutory Reserve Ratio and the Monetary Policy Rate by the Bank of Zambia on Monday, 13th February, 2023, has adversely affected the economy due to reduced liquidity and increase in loan repayment amounts; and
(b) if so, what urgent measures are being taken to cushion the impact of the decisions on the general citizenry.
QUESTIONS FOR ORAL ANSWER (STANDING ORDER 74)
179. Mr Chala (Chipili) - to ask the Minister of Health:
(a) whether the Government has any plans to construct a district hospital in Chipili District;
(b) if so, when the plans will be implemented;
(c) what the cost of the project is; and
(d) if there are no such plans, what the reasons are.
180. Mr Miyutu (Kalabo Central) - to ask the Minister of Health when the Government will improve the supply of essential drugs to health facilities in Kalabo District.
181. Mr Chanda (Kanchibiya) - to ask the Minister of Energy:
(a) when electrification of secondary schools in Kanchibiya Parliamentary Constituency will commence, to facilitate the learning of information and communication technology subjects; and
(b) what has caused the delay in commencing the project.
