The Speaker of the National Assembly of Zambia,The Rt. Honourable Nelly Butete Kashumba Mutti, MP led the Zambian delegation to the 12th Ordinary Session of the Plenary Assembly of the Forum of Parliaments of Member - States of the International Conference of the Great Lakes Region (FP-ICGLR) held in Nairobi, Kenya from 2nd to 6th April, 2022.
The theme of the conference was "The Role of Parliaments in Conflict Resolution in the Great Lakes Region". While in Kenya the Honorable Madam Speaker signed a book of condolences opened in honour of the late Rt. Honourable Jacob Oulanyah, MP, Speaker of the Parliament of Uganda, who passed on 20th March, 2022. The delegation also paid a courtesy call on the Zambian Mission in Kenya.
