286. Mr Hamwaata (Pemba) - to ask the Minister of Health:

 

(a) whether there are any plans to construct a district hospital in Pemba; 

 

(b) if so, when the plans will be implemented; and

 

(c) if there are no such plans, why.

 

287. Mr Chonde (Milenge) - to ask the Minister of Infrastructure, Housing and Urban Development:

 

(a) why the construction of Mapula Mini Hospital in Milenge District has stalled;

 

(b) when the project will resume;

 

(c) what the cost of the project is; and

 

(d) what the time frame for the completion of the project is.

 

288. Mr Mulunda (Siavonga) - to ask the Minister of Local Government and Rural Development:

 

(a) whether the Government has any plans to construct the following infrastructure in Siavonga District:

 

(i) a modern bus station; and

 

(ii) a modern market;

 

(b) if so, when the plans will be implemented; and

 

(c) if there are no such plans, why.

 

289. Mr Mtayachalo (Chama North) - to ask the Minister of Water Development and Sanitation:

 

(a) whether the Government has any plans to sink boreholes in the following Wards in Chama North Parliamentary Constituency:

 

(i) Ndunda;

 

(ii) Luangwa; and

 

(iii)   Chisunga; 

 

(b) if so, when the plans will be implemented, considering that the people share the same water holes with domestic and wild animals;

 

(c) whether the Government has any plans to construct a dam in Chama District; and

 

(d) if so, when the plans will be implemented.

 

290. Mr Mwambazi (Bwana Mkubwa) - to ask the Minister of Education:

 

(a) whether the Government has any plans to construct computer and science laboratories at the following combined schools in Bwana Mkubwa Parliamentary Constituency:

 

(i) Caritas; (v) Chalubemba;

 

(ii) Ndeke; (vi) Twalubuka; and

 

(iii) Itawa; (vii) Twikatane; and

 

(iv) Yengwe;

 

(b) if so, when the plans will be implemented.

 

291. Mr Miyutu (Kalabo Central) - to ask the Minister of Justice:

 

(a) when the local court in Nguma Ward in Kalabo Parliamentary Constituency will become operational; and 

 

(b) what the cause of the delay in  operationalising the court is.

 

292. Mr Mung’andu (Chama South) - to ask the Minister of Infrastructure, Housing and Urban Development:

 

(a) why the rehabilitation works on the Chasefu-Chifunda road have stalled;

 

(b) when the project will resume;

 

(c) who the contractor for the project is;

 

(d) how much was paid to the contractor, as of September, 2021;

 

(e) what the total cost of the project is; and

 

(f) what the time frame for the completion of the project is.

 

293. Mr Ngowani (Mpongwe) - to ask the Minister of Infrastructure, Housing and Urban Development:

 

(a) whether the Government has any plans to rehabilitate the Mpongwe - Luansobe road in Mpongwe District; 

 

(b) if so, when the plans will be implemented; and

 

(c) if there are no such plans, why.
