Hon Mwimba Malama joins in Commemorating Sixteen Days of Activism Against Gender Based Violence

Second Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly of Zambia Honourable Mwimba Malama, MP participated in the 2020 Commemoration of Sixteen Days of Activism Against Gender Based Violence on Wednesday 25th November, 2020 at the Freedom Statue in Lusaka.


The 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence is an international campaign that brings awareness to gender inequity, domestic violence, and abuse against women and girls.  The theme for this year is “Orange the world: Fund, Respond, Prevent, Collect”

Speaker Matibini leads Voter registration at Parliament Buildings

Speaker of the National Assembly, Rt. Hon Mr Justice Dr Patrick Matibini, SC, BA, FCIArb, MP on Monday, 23rd November, 2020 led Members of Parliament and staff in the voter registration exercise at Parliament Buildings.  The exercise at Parliament Buildings is scheduled for two days.

The First Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly, Honourable Catherine Namugala, MP also took part in the voter registration at Parliament Buildings.
