Ministerial Statement on the current illegal occupation of private and public land across the country by the Minister of Lands, Natural Resources and Environmental Protection, Hon. Jean Kapata, MP, presented to the House on Tuesday, 25th October, 2016.
The object of this Bill is to improve expenditure in excess of monies appropriated for the services of the Republic by the Appropriation Act, 2013, and the Supplementary Appropriation (2013) Act, 2015.
The object of this Bill is to confirm the supplementary expenditure from the general revenues of the Republic of monies spent for the services of the Republic during the financial year ended on 31st December, 2014, in excess of the monies appropriated for the services of the Republic by the Appropriation Act, 2014.
The objects of this Bill are to -
(a) provide for the administration and management of the Compensation Fund established under Article 209 of the Constitution;
(b) establish the Compensation Fund Committee and provide for its composition and functions;
(c) provide for the accounting and audit of the Funds; and
(d) provide for matters connected with, or incidental to, the foregoing
